I finally broke down and bought a new cell phone. Constantly having to restart my phone to fix its unresponsiveness finally got to me. I've always used Windows Mobile smart phones, but since I use Google for everything else; I opted for an Android phone. I thought about an IPhone (they are such great devices) but being locked into Apple/Itunes turned me off. Also they are pretty expensive. I did want to stay with AT&T since I have always had good coverage.
When I started hearing about the new Android phone coming to AT&T I thought the time had finally come. So I purchased the new Samsung Galaxy S phone on AT&T. The "Captivate". I've had it for a couple weeks now and love it.
It's nice to have a phone that I can purchase apps for, or take advantage of the thousands of free apps.
That's not to say that I haven't had some issues, but supposedly they are going to be resolved soon with a firmware update. Anyway, if you are in the market for a cool phone, don't feel like the Iphone is the only game in town.
